Notes: Dr Mike Ware is both an accomplished photographer and a highly respected academic  researcher in the field of photographic chemistry.  He is a specialist in the chemistry of  old photographic processes, several of which he has 'updated' in the light of present-day knowledge -  preserving the essential nature of the process while making it more accessable to today's photographers. This is an authoritative,  polished and absorbing site.
