| Some of London's old-style street photographers continued to ply their trade at tourist spots around London well into the 1960s. This one was operating at the Northern end of Westminster Bridge, in the shadow of Big Ben. (County Hall is visible in the background, across the river.) The sign on his tripod says "One Minute. Your Photo", a slogan that continued to appeal to London's tourists for a few years but soon ceased to impress with the popularisation of Polaroid instant film in the early 1970s. | |
